10 - la vague de Hokusai à Pen Men

shows the Hokusai-adaptation, a less known view of the many Fudjijama views, l'envers. For a wave to travel around the world it takes an estimated 1000 years. The back is the top of le Phare de Pen Men from a lino carved 10 years ago:

9 - Le Manège

The card is a version of the lino with various small alterations. The back shows the inventory of le manège in 2007. Faites vos choix. Pour les enfants to send a postcard just crossing their ride(s).

8 - Le Bourg

The new lino Le Bourg combines the main elements of this central place of Groix, for the tourists, église, thon, vins et marées, the bleu, l'écume des jours, le safran, le manège, et perhaps you discover some people to be seen not only in summer.
The back presents a lino adaptation of Bretonne, an etching from Armand Seguin, an etching he made at the age of 26 around 1895. This reminds on various activities of central Bourg. An alternative would have been a madonna with child from the église, thinking of the mothers and their children at le manège, but does this child really look like a child?

7 - Port Lay

The card resembles the lino. The back should reflect a major activity of this tiny port, la conserverie Jégo. So far I could not spot an original boite - so this is a vision

6 - Phare des Chats

The card is close to the lino, with a few minor alterations, the back is an assembly of 3 Littorina obtusata, a major snail collected à la plage près de Pointe des Chats. We come close to the triskell. This has not been an easy choice, there are beaucoup des objects people look at or carry away.

5 - Quehello

represents the central view de Quehello from the lino "Quehello" with a chat added. The back is a symbolized view of Port St. Nicolas
